No. 4 Irish Women's Tennis Set to Host Texas A&M in Regular-Season Finale

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – In their final regular-season match, the fourth-ranked Irish women’s tennis team will host Texas A&M Saturday at the Eck Tennis Pavilion or Courtney Tennis Center.

Match time is set for 10:00 a.m. The location of the match, whether it is indoors or outdoors, will be decided Saturday morning.

Notre Dame will also honor seniors Katie Potts and Kelcy Tefft before Saturday’s match. Together, Potts and Tefft form the most successful senior class in women’s tennis history with a 97-19 record, including 30 wins over top-25 opponents.

The 33rd-ranked Aggies are 11-6 on the season and are riding a seven-match win streak. They will take on Michigan Thursday before the matchup with the Irish on Saturday.

Texas A&M is led by No. 112 Morgan Frank, who is 13-4 in dual matches this season and is riding an eight-match win streak.

Notre Dame notched its fourth consecutive 20-win season Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over Illinois. The Irish are currently 20-4 on the season.

Junior Kali Krisik will ride an eight-match win streak into Saturday’s match. The Arkansas City, Kan., native holds a 15-7 dual-match record and is 9-1 over her last 10 contests.

Notre Dame is 5-1 all-time against the Aggies. The Irish last defeated Texas A&M, 4-3, a year ago in College Station, Texas.
