Feb. 14, 2014

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., this weekend to face Michigan. The match marks the first time the 5-1 Irish have seen competition in the nearly two weeks since their victory over Indiana.

“We have a great opportunity to see how we have progressed in the past two weeks,” says head coach Jay Louderback.

Notre Dame, ranked No. 22, leads Michigan in the all-time series, 22-13. The No.13-ranked Michigan is coming off a 1-2 weekend at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. Michigan is 4-2 on the season, having lost only to No. 10 Duke and No. 13 Clemson last weekend.

The match will start at 1 p.m. at the Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor on Saturday. Fans can find results of the match here at UND.com
