No. 19 Irish Close Out Regular Season At Toledo

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The No. 19 University of Notre Dame women’s swimming and diving team closes out the regular season Saturday afternoon in Toledo, Ohio, as it meets the Toledo Rockets in a 3 p.m. dual meet at the UT Student Recreation Center Pool.

The Irish (4-4) are making final preparations for the upcoming BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships that are set for Feb. 27 – March 2.

Currently seven student-athletes are in the top three in the BIG EAST in 11 individual events, while the Irish lead the league in four relays. Sophomore Emma Reaney is tops in the conference in four events, senior Kim Holden leads in two and junior Kelly Ryan leads in one.

Notre Dame last competed Jan. 25-26 at the Shamrock Invitational where the Irish defeated Towson, 309-60, as they won all 20 events over the two-day meet.

The Rockets (2-4) swim at Michigan Friday night before heading home to welcome the Irish Saturday.
