The Fighting Irish and Cardinals will play inside the Loftus Sports Center on Saturday.

No. 13/10 Women's Lacrosse Game vs. Louisville Moved Indoors

March 5, 2014

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – This Saturday’s women’s lacrosse game between No. 13/10 Notre Dame and Louisville has been moved indoors to the Loftus Sports Center. The game time will remain as 1:00 p.m.

The change in venues was necessitated by poor winter weather and field conditions at the team’s outdoor home, Arlotta Stadium.

The Fighting Irish stand at 3-2 heading into tonight’s game at No. 4 Northwestern. Louisville, which received votes in this week’s IWLCA poll, will enter Saturday’s game at 4-2 following a 12-11 loss yesterday at Ohio State. The Irish may lead the all-time series with its former BIG EAST and future ACC rival 5-0, but it has been one marked by exciting games. Each of the last four games between Notre Dame and Louisville have been settled by either one or two goals, including a 16-15 overtime win for the Irish last spring in Louisville.

Tickets are available at the gate on Saturday for just $5 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors. For season ticket packages, which also include admission to men’s lacrosse home games in addition to women’s games, logon to UND.com/tickets or call (574) 631-7356.
