NOTRE DAME, Indiana – University of Notre Dame junior cornerback Nick Watkins underwent successful surgery for a fractured left humerus Saturday night.
Watkins, who suffered the injury during yesterday morning’s practice, will be sidelined for the remainder of spring drills. He will be available when the Irish begin summer workouts.
Brian L. Ratigan, M.D., of South Bend Orthopedics, performed the surgery.
