Irish in Manchester for NCAA Northeast Regional

MANCHESTER, N.H. — For the second consecutive game Cam Morrison netted the game-winning goal, lifting the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a 3-2 overtime victory over Clarkson to advance to Saturday’s NCAA Northeast Regional Final against Massachusetts. The Irish are looking to advance to their third consecutive NCAA Frozen Four after making back-to-back appearances in 2017 and 2018, including a spot in last season’s title game.

Notre Dame’s current streak of four consecutive NCAA appearances marks a program-best run and is the nation’s fourth longest active streak, trailing only Denver (12), Providence (6) and Minnesota Duluth (5).
