NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The start of October means the start of official basketball practices and the kickoff to the 2018-19 season. Now before the Notre Dame women’s basketball squad hosts its first practice on Thursday, Oct. 4, three representatives will be shooting off to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the ACC Women’s Basketball Tipoff on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Representing the defending national champions will be Karen & Kevin Keyes head coach Muffet McGraw, senior Marina Mabrey and graduate student Brianna Turner. Mabrey earned Second Team All-ACC honors last season, while Turner boasts three First Team All-ACC and two ACC Defensive Player of the year awards to her name.

Furthermore, ACC Network Extra will carry a live Q&A session with each team, hosted by ESPN’s Christy Thomaskutty. The Irish trio is scheduled to appear approximately from 2:30-2:50 p.m. ET.
