NOTRE DAME, Ind. – When the University of Notre Dame women’s basketball team hosts Binghamton on Sunday, Dec. 16, it won’t be the only competition going on that day. The Irish marketing department will be holding the inaugural Baby Race at halftime.
Crawling babies, age 12 months and under, are eligible to participate in the contest. Ten participants will be randomly selected out of those who register through the following form here.
Chosen participants will be announced at the first media timeout in the 1st quarter of the game. Each baby must also be accompanied by two supervisors on the court to participate in this promotion. All three individuals must be present in Purcell Pavilion at the time of the drawing to participate. Props and toys are welcomed!
The winner of the baby race will receive a year supply of diapers (valued at $500)!
