Irish Men's Lacrosse Season Tickets On Sale

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse season. The Irish enter the season ranked No. 6 in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason poll. Notre Dame’s schedule is set to be one of, if not the, toughest in the country this season. Ten of Notre Dame’s 12 regular season opponents are ranked in the preseason top 20 teams.

SEASON OUTLOOK

The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team recently announced its challenging 2018 schedule, which features games against 10 teams ranked in the top 20 of the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook. Furthermore, the Irish are slated to play six of the top 10 ranked teams in the country in No. 1 Duke, No. 4 Maryland, No. 5 Denver, No. 8 Ohio State, No. 9 Syracuse and No. 10 UNC. Notre Dame enters its campaign at No. 6 in the poll.

Season ticket holders and fans alike will be treated to seven home games. Five of Notre Dame’s first six games are at home. The Irish will host Detroit (Feb. 11), No. 20 Richmond (Feb. 24), No. 5 Denver (March 10), No. 16 Virginia (March 17), Michigan (March 21), No. 1 Duke (April 7) and No. 17 Army (May 5).

The Irish, who boast eight consecutive NCAA quarterfinal runs, feature four preseason All-ACC honorees from Inside Lacrosse — senior John Sexton, senior Mikey Wynne, junior Ryder Garnsey and junior Drew Schantz.

Overall, the Irish bring back six starters from the 2017 campaign and 16 Monogram winners from last season. Notre Dame finished with 9-6 overall record, including an appearance in the ACC Championship title game.
