Senior Guard Le’Tania Severe
On returning to the Sweet 16…
“It is very important to be where we expect to be in the tournament. We just have to keep fighting and working hard at practice so that we are prepared for the next game.”

Sophomore Guard Megan Duffy
On going on the road…
“We don’t look at it as a road game, we look at it as a Sweet 16 game and another step closer to the Final Four. We are just going to be focused and ready to go so that we are not going to worry about anything and just focus on the game.”

On the turnaround at the half…
“We talked a lot about rebounding and second-chance scoring. In the first half, they had easy buckets and we held them to few points, but the way they got them was not the way we wanted. We made a few adjustments with our zone and I think it worked out in the second half.”

Junior Forward Jacqueline Batteast
On the start of her run…
“When the three went straight in, I felt pretty good, like all my shots were going to fall. Things started to fall, and I got into a rhythm and just had to keep going with it. It was shocking, and just that kind of night. It felt really good.”

On Middle Tennessee’s defense…
“I just gave them all the same treatment, I didn’t see anything but a blue jersey. The person in front of me didn’t really matter. I just felt like I could take on anybody at any given time.”
