NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The final University of Notre Dame softball summer camp offering of 2015 will feature a familiar educational experience with a new twist.

More than three quarters of the current Irish roster are past Notre Dame summer camp attendees, and limited spots remain for players looking to take their game to the next level by learning from the 2015 NCAA South Bend Regional hosts at the Irish softball advanced skills day camp July 13-15 on the Notre Dame campus.

It is your chance to learn from Notre Dame’s nationally renowned coaching staff and select players on how the Irish compete, and succeed, on the softball field.

The cost for the three-day advanced skills camp is $470 per player, with players ages 11 to 18 welcome to register, and check-in scheduled for 9 a.m. (ET) on July 13. This session is designed for experienced softball players looking to develop their skills at an elite level through hands-on instruction, analysis and game opportunities.

The advanced skills day camp is the first of its kind presented by Notre Dame softball, incorporating the elite instruction offered to experienced players that was a hallmark of the program’s overnight camp in previous years. The advanced skills camp will examine hitting, defense, pitching, catching and baserunning in depth, with actual games being played as part of the camp schedule.

Camp times will run each day from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. (ET) on Monday, July 13 through Wednesday, July 15. Advanced skills camp venues include Melissa Cook Stadium and the Charles and Marie Doherty Batting Cages, Frank Eck Baseball Stadium and indoor cages, Stinson Rugby Field and the Loftus Sports Center. A catered boxed lunch will be provided for campers each day.
