Notre Dame’s 2004 national championship women’s soccer team will be recognized by the city of South Bend on Monday, Jan. 24, during the annual State of the City Address at the Century Center Recital Hall. Mayor Stephen J. Luecke will mention the team during his address and the City Council then will recognize the team’s accomplishments by presenting the Notre Dame squad with the Council Resolution. The event is open to the public and begins at 6:00 p.m. EST. The entire 2004 team and members of the current coaching staff are expected to be in attendance for the special honor.
