NOTRE DAME, Indiana — University of Notre Dame women’s tennis coach Alison Silverio has named Daniela Nasser a volunteer assistant coach for the Fighting Irish. Nasser joins the Irish after graduating as a tennis student-athlete at the University of Oregon.

“We are honored to welcome Dani to our program,” Coach Silverio said. “She embodies our values and has demonstrated a distinctive passion for tennis and development. I am confident Dani will make significant contributions in our journey to national prominence.”

The Tampa, Florida, native was the first recruit Silverio signed as a head coach at the University of Oregon and the duo were together for three years.

A five-star recruit, Nasser closed out her Oregon career with an overall record of 63-41 and her 63 career victories are tied for eighth in Oregon history. In her senior season, Nasser led the Ducks in wins with an overall record of 16-15.

In the fall of 2018, Nasser competed in ITA All-Americans for the first time in her career. She then qualified for the ITA Northwest Regional where she advanced to the Round of 32.

Nasser graduated in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration.
