Monogram Club Schedule of Events: Pittsburgh Weekend

NOTRE DAME, Ind. –

The Monogram Club will host its usual slate of home football weekend events as the Irish prepare for their tilt with BIG EAST foe Pittsburgh on Saturday. In addition to the usual schedule of activities, the men’s lacrosse team will be hosting a reunion on Saturday. A schedule of events for the lacrosse gathering is included below.

Friday, October 8

All dues-paying football alumni are invited to attend the Monogram Club’s Friday Night Football Reception held in the Schivarelli Players’ Lounge located in the north end of Notre Dame Stadium. Football alumni may bring up to four guests to the reception. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude at 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 9

The Monogram Club pre-game reception will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Monogram Room and continue until 3:30 p.m. All dues-paying members may bring up to five guests to the event and must present a membership card to be admitted. Free food and a cash bar will be provided.

The Club’s post-game Mass will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game against Pittsburgh and will be led by athletics department chaplain Rev. Paul Doyle C.S.C. ’65 in the Monogram Room.

Men’s Lacrosse Reunion Schedule
The men’s lacrosse program will host its annual reunion on Saturday, October 9. Alumni, family and friends are welcome to attend the reunion tailgate on Saturday at noon. To RSVP, please contact Kevin Dugan at

11:30: Annual “Steak and Hotdog Game”
The annual “Steak and Hotdog game” has become legendary tradition in the Notre Dame lacrosse program and is consistently the fiercest scrimmage of the year. The Sunday following the game, the team will get together at Coach Kevin Corrigan’s home to watch NFL football and hang out. The winning team enjoys steaks while the losing team has hot dogs.
