Monogram Club Guide To Miami Weekend

Oct. 27, 2016

The Monogram Club Board of Directors and staff are looking forward to seeing members back on campus this weekend for Notre Dame’s matchup with Miami! It’s going to be a momentous weekend for the Monogram Club as it hosts its official 100th anniversary celebration! Below is a schedule of Monogram Club events throughout the weekend. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28
Monogram Club 100th Anniversary Reception
Notre Dame Stadium
Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge/Rockne Gate (north tunnel)
6:00 p.m. ââ’¬” 10:00 p.m.

The Monogram Club will welcome members to the Schivarelli Players’ Lounge, located just through the Rockne Gate (north tunnel), following that evening’s pep rally, which will take place in the Hesburgh Library mall. Since Knute Rockne was a co-founder of the Monogram Club it will be fitting to celebrate in “The House That Rockne Built”. Members and their guests will have the opportunity to visit Notre Dame’s historic locker room, take photos with the legendary Play Like A Champion Today sign, and see the field. After raising our glasses in celebration of 100 years, we encourage everyone to take the opportunity to support the four Fighting Irish teams ââ’¬” swimming & diving, volleyball, men’s soccer and hockey ââ’¬” competing on campus that night.

Monogram Club members who registered for this event be sure to stop by the check-in table, which will be located just outside the Rockne Gate, to receive wristbands for you and your guests that will allow you to come and go throughout the evening.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29
Pre-Game Reception
Monogram Room
12:00 p.m. ââ’¬” 3:00 p.m.
All dues-paying Monogram Club members and up to five guests are invited to stop by our reception in the Monogram Room. Enjoy complimentary tailgate food and a cash bar, and check out the latest gear and apparel for sale at our Monogram Club merchandise table. Monogram Club Executive Director Brant Ust (’00, baseball) will give some brief remarks and Justice Alan Page (’67, football) is scheduled to be the featured speaker. Page is the 2016 recipient of the Monogram Club’s Edward “Moose” Krause Distinguished Service Award.

The Notre Dame cheerleading squad will also stop by to lead the group in some cheers! As a reminder, please bring your Monogram Club membership card for admission to the reception.

Pre-Game Tunnel For All Monogram Club Members
Notre Dame Stadium
3:15 p.m.

The Monogram Club is excited to once again offer the special opportunity and member benefit for all Monogram Club members to help form the tunnel the Fighting Irish will run through prior to Saturday’s showdown against Miami. For security reasons, we were required to pre-register all Monogram Club members choosing to participate in the pre-game tunnel. Walk-up registrations on the day of the game will be prohibited.

If you registered for the tunnel, please report to the Monogram Club check-in table between 12:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. (ET) on Saturday to obtain your field pass. The check-in table will be located in the Monogram Room (Joyce Center concourse/Heritage Hall) during the Monogram Club’s pre-game reception. If you’re taking part in the tunnel, be sure to have your game ticket and field pass available to show as you enter Notre Dame Stadium. You will receive directions on where to enter the stadium when you pick up your pass.

Annual Mass And Meeting
Monogram Room
