Monogram Club Announces Notice Of Annual Meeting

NOTRE DAME, Ind. ââ’¬” The Notre Dame Monogram Club will hold its Annual Mass and Meeting on Saturday, October 29 following the Notre Dame-Miami football game. The Mass and meeting will be held in the Monogram Room of the Joyce Center.

At the Annual Meeting, the Monogram Club Board of Directors will recommend amendments to the Club’s operating principles, which will require a vote of approval by the membership.

The amendments include an overall reduction in the size of the Board over time, an extension of the term of directors from three to four years and the elimination of the Past President’s Council at the conclusion of Kevin O’Connor’s term as Monogram Club president.

Additionally, and pursuant to the Club’s operating principles, the nominating committee of the Monogram Club will recommend the following slate of directors to serve a four-year term from 2016-2020:

– Jes Christian (’14, track & field)
– Jeff Faine (03, football)
– Jennette Rauch (’05, athletic trainer)

The Annual Mass and Meeting will be part of the Monogram Club’s 100th anniversary celebration weekend. Other weekend events include the Monogram Club 100th Anniversary Reception on Friday (October 28) at the Schivarelli Players’ Lounge at Notre Dame Stadium and Saturday’s pre-game reception inside the Monogram Room. Additionally, the Monogram Club will present Justice Alan Page (’67, football) with the Moose Krause Distinguished Service Award.
