NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The new FieldTurf is complete, training camp is underway, and we are just a couple of weeks from the start of another Notre Dame football season. With that, the Monogram Club is excited to announce its 2014 fall schedule of events.
Once again, each Monogram Club football weekend will include a Friday night reception for all dues-paying football Monogram winners and senior football managers beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge at Notre Dame Stadium. Individuals may bring up to four guests to the event, which features a selection of appetizers and a cash bar, as well as the opportunity to visit Notre Dame’s historic locker room and take photos with the legendary Play Like A Champion Today sign.
The Monogram Club also invites all dues-paying young alumni (Monogram winners that graduated between 2004-14) and one guest to the Friday evening reception on Aug. 29, the eve of the season opener against Rice. To register and for more details, please contact Monogram Club staff member Josh Flynt. Additionally, all dues-paying Monogram winners and a guest are invited to attend the Friday reception on Nov. 14 prior to the game against Northwestern (look for RSVP details at a later date).
On each home football Saturday, the Club will host its pre-game reception and post-game Mass in the Monogram Room. The pre-game gathering begins three hours before kickoff, and Mass will be held 30 minutes after the conclusion of each game. All dues-paying Monogram winners are invited to bring up to five guests to enjoy complimentary tailgate food and a cash bar at the reception before the game.
Following each home contest, all Monogram winners are welcome to attend the Club’s post-game Mass, a perfect conclusion to a weekend of Notre Dame fellowship. (Note: Mass after the Michigan game will take place in Sports Heritage Hall. All are invited to join the Club for the special “midnight Mass.”).
Dues-paying Monogram winners will have the chance to form an on-field tunnel to welcome the football team into Notre Dame Stadium at two select home games during the season. Football Monogram winners and senior football managers will form the tunnel prior to the Stanford game on Oct. 4, while dues-paying Monogram winners from all other sports and programs will gather before the Northwestern game on Nov. 15.
