NOTRE DAME, Ind. –

MONOGRAM CLUB 2011 FALL SCHEDULE

The Monogram Club will host a pre-game reception and post-game Mass during every home football Saturday to highlight the 2011 fall schedule of events on campus.

In addition, the organization will play a part in a number of sport reunions and Notre Dame athletics events throughout the season.

Each Monogram Club football weekend kicks off with a Friday night reception for all dues-paying football Monogram winners and senior football managers at 7:00 p.m. in the Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge at Notre Dame Stadium. Individuals can bring up to four guests to the event.

On Saturday, the Club hosts its popular pre-game receptions three hours before kickoff in the Monogram Room. All dues-paying Monogram winners are invited to bring up to five guests to enjoy the complimentary tailgate food and a cash bar. Following each football contest, all Monogram winners are welcome to attend the Club’s post-game Mass, presided over by athletics department chaplain Rev. Paul Doyle, C.S.C. ’65. Mass commences 30 minutes after the game’s final whistle.

Once again this season, dues-paying Monogram winners will have the opportunity to form an on-field tunnel to welcome the football team into Notre Dame Stadium. Football Monogram winners and senior football managers will make the tunnel prior to the USC game on Oct. 22, while dues-paying Monogram winners from all sports will gather before the Boston College game on Nov. 19.

In addition to these regular events, the Club will also sponsor a number of unique activities during the fall. During the USF football weekend, baseball Monogram winners are invited back to campus for a complimentary reception on Friday, Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frank Eck Stadium press box. The following morning, the program will host its annual alumni game at 10:00 a.m. at the stadium.

During the Michigan State football weekend, the Monogram Club will host members of the 1966 national championship football team to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their historic season. The event will run from Sept. 16-17 and include a dinner, reception, and on-field recognition during the game against the Spartans.

In honor of the opening of the Compton Family Ice Arena during the Boston College weekend Nov. 18-19, the Club will host hockey Monogram winners on campus leading up to the dedication. More information will be made available in the coming weeks.

If you have questions about any of the above events, feel free to call the Monogram Club office at (574) 631-5450.
