Meunier, Irish Wrap Day One of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. — The University of Notre Dame track and field team wrapped up day one of the Raleigh Relays with impressive performances from distance runners at North Carolina State’s Paul Derr Track on Friday.

Junior Kevin Pulliam placed 33rd in the men’s 5,000m in his first race since his sophomore year. Pulliam recorded a time of 14:27.49.

Graduate student Sydni Meunier finished the women’s 1,500m in 26th with a time of 4:30.00. Senior Lexi Pelletier ran the 1,500m in 4:39.77, while graduate student Kathleen Darling finished in 4:45.18.

Megan Golden, athletics communications assistant director at the University of Notre Dame, has been part of the Fighting Irish athletics communications team since August of 2016. In her role, she coordinates all media efforts for the Notre Dame women’s lacrosse and cross country/track and field programs.
