Men's Tennis Back on the Road at Middle Tennessee State

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s tennis team hits the road again this weekend as they head south to Middle Tennessee State University for the only match of the weekend. The teams will play on Sunday, February 6th at 2 p.m. at the Adams Tennis Complex. Live scoring and video will be available to follow along.

The Irish are coming off of ITA Kickoff Weekend where they came away with the win against Southern Methodist University before falling to #10 ranked Wake Forest, 4-1. Axel Nefve put up a perfect weekend on the singles court with two wins as well as the deciding match to clinch the victory against SMU 4-3. Connor Fu, Peter Conklin, Jean-Marc Malkowski also tallied points on the weekend.

Last Time Out:

The Irish and Blue Raiders have a short history having only played twice between the programs, splitting the contests. Most recently, MTSU came to South Bend in 2021 and left with a 4-3 victory against a COVID depleted Irish roster. The only other meeting took place in 2010 in which ND was victorious.
