Irish Begin Spring Season at The Prestige Presented by Charles Schwab

LA QUINTA, Calif. – The Notre Dame men’s golf team will begin its spring campaign on Monday when the Fighting Irish travel out west to compete at The Prestige Presented by Charles Schwab. The tournament takes place Feb. 18-20 at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West.
Golfweek’s exclusive livestream coverage of the event begins Tuesday, Feb. 19. Veteran broadcasters Will Haskett and Steve Scott will call the action, with Golfweek‘s Lance Ringler providing interviews and analysis. Audiences can tune in at Golfweek.com/ThePrestige on Feb. 19-20.
Each round is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, with traditional starts on holes one and ten. Live scoring can be found at Golfstat.com.
The Field
The 15-team field consists of UC Davis, Arkansas, East Tennessee State, Iowa State, LSU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, Stirling (Scotland), UCLA and Utah.
The tough field includes the likes of defending NCAA champion No. 1 Oklahoma State, plus Top-20 teams in No. 13 Pepperdine, No. 17 LSU and No. 18 Arkansas.
The Irish Five
The Irish will be represented by Davis Lamb, Miguel Delgado, John Felitto, Taichi Kho and Hunter Ostrom.
Of the five, Felitto posted the lowest scoring average last fall, averaging 71.42 strokes, as Delgado (71.60) and Ostrom (72.58) follow suit. Felitto posted a third place showing at the Fighting Irish Classic while Ostrom took home the individual tournament title at the Northern Intercollegiate.
