BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team closed out the regular season portion of its schedule on Sunday with a 7-1 win over Indiana. Notre Dame now has an overall record of 16-6 overall and will play in the BIG EAST Championship starting next Thursday in Miami.

Irish sophomore Ryan Sachire improved his record to 31-11 overall in singles with a victory at the No. 1 position. Sachire is 17-4 in dual match action this season. Senior Brian Patterson was victorious for the Irish at No. 3 singles and now is 18-4 in dual match action this season and 18-5 overall.
