Men's Soccer Season Tickets Now On Sale

Aug. 11, 2009

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Season tickets are now on sale for the entire 2009 Notre Dame men’s soccer season. The Fighting Irish, who are ranked 16th in the College Soccer News preseason poll, will unveil their new state-of-the-art Alumni Stadium in the season opener against Michigan on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. (ET).

Notre Dame will have nine regular-season home matches, including the eighth annual Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament (Sept. 11 and 13). Other highlights of the schedule include dates with Indiana (Oct. 14) and Connecticut (Oct. 31).

A season pass is $30 for adults and $25 for youth (21 and under)/senior (55 and older). Kids three years of age and younger are free for all regular season matches. A fan pack, which includes four season passes, is $70.

Individual game tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth/senior. Groups of 20 and over are half price.

There is free admission for Notre Dame/Saint Mary’s College/Holy Cross students with a valid student ID. Notre Dame faculty and staff also will receive free admission for regular season games with a current Notre Dame ID. Those offers are void when capacity is reached.

The BIG EAST showdown versus West Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 17 will be free of charge for all fans. The contest is slated for an 11:30 a.m. (ET) start, which precedes the Notre Dame-USC football game.

To purchase a season pass or single-game tickets, call the Notre Dame ticket office at (574) 631-7356, visit und.com/tickets or stop by the Notre Dame ticket office on the second level of the Joyce Center. Tickets can also be purchased at Alumni Stadium on gamedays.

Prior to the regular season, Notre Dame will host Northwestern in an exhibition contest on Monday, Aug. 24 at Alumni Field (the previous home to Irish soccer). Price of admission to the preseason tilt against the Wildcats will be a donation to Grassroot Soccer, an international AIDS awareness and education organization that reaches youth in Africa through soccer clinics. The ticket window will be located on the north end of the field by the Courtney Lane entrance. Fans attending the exhibition match should park at the University’s Library Lot.

Once the Irish move into Alumni Stadium, fans are encouraged to park at the Joyce Center’s C1 lot.
