Notre Dame, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team will meet an all-star Major Lacrosse League (MLL) team in a scrimmage on Saturday, February 8 at 7p.m. in the Loftus Center. The MLL team is made up of several top world players, including former Irish All-Americans Todd Rassas, Jimmy Keenan and Tom Glatzel. The team also features three members of the U.S. National Team.

The Irish are ranked 17th in the Inside Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll after finishing the 2002 campaign with a 5-8 record. Head coach Kevin Corrigan’s squad will begin the 2003 regular season on the road against 15th-ranked Penn State on Sunday, February 23. The home opener is the following weekend Notre Dame faces Pennsylvania on Saturday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m.
