Men's Cross Country Set To Compete At The NCAA Championship Meet

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s cross country team concludes its season on Monday, November 22 at the NCAA Championship meet at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind.

The men’s 10-kilometer race is set to begin at approximately 12:48 p.m. (EST).

The Irish are coming off of a third-place finish at the Great Lakes Regional where senior Dan Jackson (Ann Arbor, Mich./Dexter), sophomore Jeremy Rae (Fort Erie, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) and junior Jordan Carlson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Rosemount) earned all-region accolades. Jackson finished fourth in 30:31.11, followed by Rae (30:42.01) and Carlson (30:51.30) in 16th and 22nd, respectively.

In addition to Jackson, Rae and Carlson, the Irish line up will consist of juniors Johnathan Shawel (Placentia, Calif./Placentia) and Joe Miller (Bowling Green, Ohio/St. John’s Jesuit) and freshmen Martin Grady (Burr Ridge, Ill./Fenwick) and Walter Schafer (Centennial, Colo./Cherry Creek).
