The University of Notre Dame men’s basketball team entered its eight-day break for finals perfectly, knocking off #23 Maryland and #4 Alabama in its last two contests. The Irish will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 16, when the team faces Elon at 7:00 p.m. in the Joyce Center.
Irish football/basketball fans have no need to fret on Jan. 3. The BIG EAST Conference, Notre Dame and Louisville agreed to move both team’s conference opener, originally scheduled for the evening of Jan. 3 to 6:00 p.m. – giving fans time to get home and watch the Sugar Bowl.
