SMU’s Andrea Cassidy was first in 4:43.28.

Carroll continued her strong meet for the Irish with a fifth-place finish in the 100 butterfly. The freshman’s time of 1:02.31 was just off first-place finisher Kim Vandenberg’s time of 59.46. Garcia was 12th in the race at 1:02.97. In the 200 freestyle, Irish freshman Ellen Johnson was 19th in 2:03.19. UCLA’s Malin Svahnstrom was first with a time of 1:59.59.
