Raleigh, NC – Notre Dame senior diver Meghan Perry-Eaton placed first on both the one- and three-meter boatds today in dual meet action against North Carolina State. Perry-Eaton took first on the one-meter event with 287.55 points. North Carolina State’s Christy Welch was third with 264.83 points, followed the Wolfpack’s Ashley Lambertson with 250.80 points. Irish sophomore Samantha Raneri was fifth with 240.0 points, while sophomore Casey Pepak was seventh in 180.38.
On the three meter board, Perry-Eaton was first with 289.58 points. Welch was second in 278.18, followed by Lamberton with 226.95. Raneri was fourth with 218.70 points, while Pepak was sixth with 159.60 points.
The rest of the Irish women’s swimming team was in Orlando, Fla., on a fall training trip. Notre Dame competed against the University of Tampa on Thursday afternoon, but results were unavailable at press time.
