Meghan Perry-Eaton Seventh On Three-Meter Board At NCAA Zone Diving

Oxford, Ohio – Notre Dame junior Meghan Perry-Eaton finished seventh on the three-meter board at the 2003 NCAA Zone Diving Meet on the campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. With her seventh-place finish, Perry Eaton should qualify for the 2003 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship to be held next Thursday-Saturday, March 20-22 in Auburn, Ala.

Perry-Eaton concluded the three-meter event with 449.90 points. Iowa finished one-two in the event as Lisette Planken was first with 474.10 points, followed by teammate Nancilea Underwood with 472.35 points.

In the men’s competition, senior Andy Maggio was 11th in the one-meter finals with 527.90 points. Ohio State’s Mitch Richeson was first with 639.55 points, while Iowa’s Timo Klami was second with 625.60 points. Senior Joe Miller also competed for the Irish finishing with 213.95 points, good for 25th place.
