IRISH LOOK FOR RARE ROAD SWEEP – Junior RHP Jeff Manship takes the mound today as Notre Dame looks to post the sweep of South Florida … ND previously has turned in a 3-0 sweep on the road eight times during 11 seasons of BIG EAST play – including three in the ’04 season – and has totaled 23 full sweeps (3-0) of BIG EAST series, with 15 coming at Eck Stadium … USF would become the eighth different BIG EAST team that ND has swept 3-0 on the road (others are BC, Georgetown, Rutgers, St. John’s. Seton Hall, West Virginia and UConn).
