In addition, he recorded career-highs with five assists and five blocked shots.

Harangody, who leads the Irish in scoring (23.0) and rebounding (12.4), was eight-of-14 from the field and seven-of-nine from the line in 38 minutes of action against the Terriers.

DaJuan Summers of Georgetown was named the conference player of the week, while Devin Ebanks of West Virginia copped rookie-of-the-week honors.

Joining Harangody on Weekly Honor Roll were Samardo Samuels (Louisville), Lazar Hayward (Marquette), Paris Horn (St. John’s) and Jeremy Hazell (St. John’s).

Since returning to the Irish after missing the Furman and South Dakota contests with pneumonia, the junior forward has averaged 24.0 points and 15.5 rebounds.

Notre Dame, ranked 12th in this week’s Associated Press and 14th in the ESPN/USA Today rankings, is 7-2 on the season. The Irish are in action again on Saturday evening, Dec. 20 when they play host to Delaware State.
