WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Thanks to the efforts of Notre Dame all-star senior manager Jerry Beres, fans and media will be able to follow the action in the first big test of the dual-match season for the Irish women’s tennis team, as und.com, the official website of Irish athletics, will feature live scoring updates today from the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center, as #22 ND (2-0) faces 23rd-ranked Wake Forest (3-0) in a match slated to begin at Noon (EST).
Fans can follow live scoring updates – updated every 10-15 minutes – from all home Irish men’s and women’s tennis matches this season, as well as selected road contests.
Notre Dame is trying to break recent tradition today, as the home team has won seven consecutive matches in the Irish-Wake Forest series. The Demon Deacons hold a 9-7 all-time edge, and ND has not won in Winston-Salem since 1998.
