NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Notre Dame volleyball player Lindsay Treadwell capped a great senior season by being one of 12 players selected to the All-District I First Team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Treadwell is now one of 96 players eligible for AVCA All-America honors, which will be announced on December 16. The Austin, Texas native led the Irish to the second round of the NCAA tournament and the team’s fourth-straight BIG EAST Championship. She also was first on the team in hitting percentage (.277) , aces (27), digs (338) and blocks (159) and was a first team all-BIG EAST and GTE All-Academic District V selection. Treadwell, the team’s captain and only fourth-year player, holds the Notre Dame record for career hitting percentage (.293) and ranks in the top 10 in 11 other career categories.
