Ticket sales remain exceptionally brisk for Sunday's in-state matchup between Notre Dame and Indiana at the Joyce Center.

Limited Number Of Tickets Remain For Sunday's Women's Basketball Game Against Indiana

Nov. 28, 2006

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Just mere days before the Notre Dame women’s basketball team welcomes Indiana to town for the first time in almost a decade, the Notre Dame Athletics Ticket Office has announced that only approximately 2,000 tickets remain available for the Dec. 3 contest at the Joyce Center. The combination of season-ticket sales and advance single-game ticket purchases has pushed the 2 p.m. (ET) matchup between the Irish and Hoosiers close to becoming the fourth sellout in Notre Dame women’s basketball history and the second in as many seasons. In addition, it is expected to be the highest-attended women’s basketball game in the state of Indiana this season, earning the moniker of the “Hoosier State Game of the Year.”

“Our fans continue to set the standard when it comes to their passion and loyalty for Irish women’s basketball,” Notre Dame coordinator of basketball operations Stephanie Menio said. “These tickets have been one of the fastest sellers we’ve ever seen and folks planning to wait until game day to buy their tickets may want to consider getting their tickets for this great game, and all of our remaining home games, well in advance of Sunday’s tipoff.”

Tickets for all Notre Dame women’s basketball games are available at a cost of $8 for adults and $5 for youths (21-and-under) or seniors (55-and-older), while Notre Dame/Saint Mary’s/Holy Cross students are admitted free with their student ID. Season tickets currently are being sold for Notre Dame’s complete home schedule at a cost of $58 each for adults (less than $4 per game) or $162 for Fan Packs (a block of four tickets that averages less than $3 per ticket per game). Purchases can be made in person (second-floor ticket windows at the Joyce Center at the Gate 1 entrance), by phone (574-631-7356), or on-line by clicking here.

On Sunday, the Joyce Center Athletics Ticket Office windows at Gate 10 will open at 10 a.m. (ET), four hours prior to tipoff. However, due to congestion close to game time, fans are encouraged to take advantage of the on-line and telephone ticket purchase options in order to be seated by tipoff.
