Kristy Kreher Becomes Third Volleyball Alum In The United State Professional Volleyball League.

Former University of Notre Dame volleyball standout Kristy Kreher has been added to United States Professional Volleyball’s Minnesota Chill roster for the remainder of the 2002 season. Kreher, who will graduate from Notre Dame in May, joins former teammate Denise Boylan (’01) on the Chill roster.

A native of Birmingham, Mich., Kreher ended her outstanding Notre Dame career by earning first-team all-region accolades for the 2001 season and ended up with 1,204 career kills.

Kreher is the third Irish volleyball alum in the USPV, joining Boylan and 1994 graduate Molly Stark.

The Minnesota Chill is in first place in the USPV with an 11-6 record. The team has three matches left this season, Tuesday, April 16, at Grand Rapids, Thursday, April 18, vs. Grand Rapids and Sunday, April 21, at Grand Rapids.
