Kevin Corrigan Named US Lacrosse Coach Of The Week

BALTIMORE, Md. – Kevin Corrigan has been selected as the US Lacrosse Men’s Coach of the Week for the week ending April 29. He will be recognized on CSTV’s lacrosse broadcasts this weekend. Corrigan and Notre Dame beat rival Ohio State 12-6 on Saturday to clinch the Great Western Lacrosse League championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Corrigan is in his 19th season at the helm of the Fighting Irish program. He has an overall record of 166-91 (.646) at Notre Dame. Corrigan has steered the Irish to 10 GWLL titles and 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the national semifinals in 2001.

The Irish have won seven straight games to improve their record to 10-3 this season, including a perfect 4-0 mark in the GWLL. Notre Dame will wrap up its regular-season schedule at GWLL foe Quinnipiac this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (ET).

US Lacrosse and CSTV are in the fourth year of a partnership to help bring college lacrosse broadcasts to fans around the nation. CSTV has a 24-game package for this season, including telecasts of the NCAA Division I, II and III women’s championships and the NCAA Division II and III men’s championships. CSTV will also telecast the US Lacrosse Women’s Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championship.

CSTV has three games on its schedule this weekend. On Saturday, CSTV will broadcast the Georgetown-Penn State men’s game. On Sunday, CSTV airs the American Lacrosse Conference and Atlantic 10 women’s championships.
