NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame Monogram Club has announced the additions of Kelly Crow and Sean Carroll to its staff. Crow has been hired as Monogram Club Coordinator, while Carroll will serve as the Club’s Communications Associate.

Crow will develop, coordinate, supervise and host events on behalf of the athletics department and Monogram Club. She will assist Brant Ust, the executive director of the Monogram Club/assistant athletics director, and the entire Club staff with member requests, preparation and assistance with Monogram Club Board meetings. Crow also will serve as the administrative assistant to associate athletics director Beth Hunter.

Crow comes to Notre Dame from the University of Tulsa where she had been working with the Golden Hurricane Club since August. In that role, Crow facilitated in the coordination of the Golden Hurricane Club’s annual fundraising campaign and assisted the associate athletic director for development in the distribution of premium seat tickets for H.A. Chapman Stadium’s 23 luxury suites and 424 club seats.

In addition, Crow coordinated and executed cultivation and stewardship activities for all donors, including the Dinner at the Athletic Director’s House, 110% Club Reception and Chamber Football Kickoff Luncheon. She also assisted with the TU Letterman’s Association operations and programs, including the student-athletes Career Advancement Networking Evening (CANE) and first-time letter winners award receptions.

Before her appointment at Tulsa, Crow spent time in the UC Irvine athletic department. She was an athletic development intern during the 2010-11 school year, and was an assistant to the development staff in the fall of 2013 while she completed graduate school fieldwork. She also worked in the athletic communications office at UC Irvine. Crow has additional professional experience with On Board Experiential Marketing and Triathlon Business International.

Crow is a native of Redlands, California, and in the fall of 2010 she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach. In the spring of 2011, she received a certificate for professional meeting and event planning from California State University, Long Beach. Crow completed a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Redlands in the summer of 2014.

Carroll will be responsible for managing all Monogram Club communication channels, including the Club’s website, blog and social media accounts. He will have a key role in the upcoming celebration of the Club’s 100th year anniversary. Additionally, Carroll will work closely with the rest of the Club staff to plan and coordinate fellowship events for Monogram winners, both on campus and regionally. He will serve as the primary contact for Sports Heritage Hall, an area of the Joyce Center dedicated to celebrating the rich history of Notre Dame athletics.

Carroll has been a member of the Notre Dame athletics media relations staff since August of 2004. He served as the primary contact for the Fighting Irish men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse teams for the last 10 seasons, and he was the secondary contact for the Notre Dame men’s basketball program since 2008. His responsibilities included producing press releases, feature stories and publications in addition to promoting and coordinating media exposure for those teams on the local and national level. He has produced and edited media guides that were recognized as the “Best in the Nation” for that respective sport on multiple occasions by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Carroll also worked directly with the women’s golf, men’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s cross country/track & field and the men’s and women’s fencing teams during his time in the media relations office. In addition, he was the media coordinator for the 2009 and 2010 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship first- and second-round games hosted at Notre Dame’s Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.

Prior to his arrival at Notre Dame, Carroll spent one year as a media relations staff assistant at the University at Albany in Albany, New York. Carroll entered the media relations field as a volunteer in the Bethel College (Mishawaka, Indiana) athletic department during the 2002-03 academic year.

A native of Lakeville, Indiana, Carroll graduated from Indiana University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a second concentration in political science. Carroll married Jennifer Swisher in the summer of 2010, and the couple has a 2-year old daughter, Avery.
