KELLY CARES FOUNDATION, MEIJER, PAPA VINO'S, NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL

Dec. 3, 2016 NOTRE DAME, Indiana — The University of Notre Dame football team, the Kelly Cares Foundation, Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen and Meijer will combine forces on Sunday, December 4, for the fifth annual Shop with a Player.
The Fighting Irish will host the underprivileged children from the New Prairie school district. The children, ranging between ages eight and 13, will meet the football student-athletes at the Guglielmino Athletics Complex on Notre Dame’s campus.
The group will travel together on buses — donated by Royal Excursion — to lunch, which will be donated by Papa Vino’s.
The Kelly Cares Foundation (KCF), a charity founded by Irish head football coach Brian Kelly and his wife Paqui, will donate $10,000 to create 100 gift cards worth $100 to Meijer.
In addition to the KCF donation, Meijer will also contribute over $4,000 to the event.
The Kelly Cares Foundation was established by the Brian and Paqui Kelly family to support organizations, initiatives and programs that closely align with the goals and values of the Kelly family in three main pillars: health, education, and community.
