NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Senior Katie Carroll (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy) had a memorable day for Notre Dame, as she captured the second All-American honor of her career in the 400-yard IM. The 19th-ranked University of Notre Dame women’s swimming and diving team competed in a total of five events on the second day of the NCAA Championships on Friday, March 9, in Minneapolis, Minn.

Carroll, swimming in the second to last individual event of her Notre Dame, made it counted as she finished seventh in the finals of 400-yard IM (4:12.47) to capture the second All-American honor of her career. The senior was also an All-American in 2005, as she finished sixth in the same event.
