PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – All three University of Notre Dame women’s tennis student-athletes that traveled to the Riviera ITA All-American Championships were in action Tuesday as the Irish begin to wrap up their time at the elite tournament.

After sophomore Monica Robinson went 1-1 in the pre-qualifying singles round Sunday, junior Quinn Gleason did the same Tuesday in the qualifying singles round, as she bested Boston College’s Asiya Dair, 0-6, 6-3, 6-2, before falling to Vanderbilt’s Courtney Colton, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, in the second round.

In doubles, Gleason and Robinson lost a close match to Stanford’s Caroline Doyle and Ellen Tsay in the qualifying doubles round, 6-2, 4-6 (10-4).

The duo are set to compete in the qualifying doubles consolation round Wednesday against Columbia’s Rima Asatrian and Kanika Vaidya.
