NCAA Zone Diving – Day 1 Results 
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Notre Dame divers Jenny Chiang and Natalie Stitt each finished in the top 10 of the 1-meter event Friday at Boilermaker Aquatic Center on the first day of the 2010 NCAA Zone Diving Championships. Erin Mertz (588.50) of Purdue won the event.
Chiang, a freshman, scored 534.65 points for ninth place. Stitt scored 533.25 points as the senior finished 10th overall.
The Irish pair will compete in the 3-meter event Saturday to wrap up the two-day competition.
