Full 2022 Schedule

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Head coach Link Jarrett is excited to announce the 2022 Notre Dame Baseball schedule Thursday afternoon. The Irish are coming off an ACC Regular Season Championship and a Super Regional appearance last season and have a challenging slate ahead of them in 2022.

“It will be exciting and a great experience for our program to play in some very unique venues in cities all over the country,” said Jarrett. “Obviously we have a challenging schedule against quality programs from day one to the finish line. Fan involvement and energy will be back to normal we all hope. That will add to the excitement of our 2022 slate.”

The Irish open the 2022 schedule on Feb. 18 in DeLand, Florida as they take part in the Hatter Classic. Notre Dame will face off with Manhattan, Stetson and Delaware at Melching Field at Conrad Park over the course of the opening weekend.

The next weekend, the Irish will take on Marist and Monmouth in Greenville, South Carolina. The Irish will face both teams twice over the weekend and will play at Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, the Red Sox Single-A affiliate.

The spring break trip begins on March 4 when the Irish head north to Minneapolis to play in the Cambria College Classic. Notre Dame will face three B1G schools in Illinois, Michigan State and Minnesota at USBank Field, home of the Minnesota Vikings.

After a midweek matchup against Elon on March 8, the ACC slate begins with a three-game series against NC State in Raleigh on March 11. NC State was one of two ACC schools to make it to Omaha in 2021.

The 2022 home schedule begins on March 15 with a midweek matchup against Valparaiso before the Irish go back on the road. Notre Dame will make the quick trip south to take on Louisville for an ACC series on March 18-20.

Notre Dame returns home for a five-game homestand that includes midweek matchups with Northwestern (March 22) and Northern Illinois (March 29) and an ACC weekend series against Virginia Tech (March 25-27).

The third ACC road weekend of the season takes the Irish to Tallahassee to take on Florida State on April 1-3. The Irish return to campus for another five-game homestand that includes midweeks against Butler (April 5) and Michigan (April 12) and an ACC series against Clemson (April 8-10).

Notre Dame will travel to Durham, North Carolina to face the Blue Devils over Easter weekend (April 14-16) for the second to last ACC road series of the season.

A big home stretch awaits the Irish following Easter, as eight of their next nine games will be at Frank Eck Stadium. Notre Dame hosts Wake Forest (April 22-24) and Boston College (April 29-May 1) in ACC series and midweek matchups with Valparaiso (April 19) and Purdue Fort Wayne (April 20). The lone road game in this stretch is against Michigan State on April 26 in Detroit. The Irish and Spartans will play at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers.

After the exam break, the Irish will hit the road for a three-game series against William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia on May 6-7. Notre Dame comes home for its final homestand of the regular season. The Irish host Michigan State on May 10 before an ACC series against Pitt (May 13-15) closes out the home schedule.

The final road trip of the season takes the Irish to Evanston, Illinois for a midweek matchup with Northwestern on May 17. The final ACC road series of the season will take place in Coral Gables as the Irish and Hurricanes face off for the first time since 2018 on May 19-21.

The 2022 ACC Championships returns to Charlotte, North Carolina for the second-straight season. Truist Field, home of the Charlotte Knights (Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox), will host the ACC Championships from May 23-28.
