Ivey & Peoples to Appear on ACC Tipoff Show

The duo will appear on ACC Network in the 6-7 p.m. EST hour on Nov. 12

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Karen & Kevin Keyes Notre Dame women’s basketball head coach Niele Ivey, along with sophomore guard Anaya Peoples, will represent the Irish on the ACC Tipoff special Thursday, Nov. 12. The duo will appear live on the ACC Network from the 6-7 p.m. EST hour.

Coach Ivey and Peoples will join ACC Network host Kelsey Riggs along with analysts Kelly Gramlich and Monica McNutt.  In addition, Irish fans might just see a familiar face in the studio’s newest analyst, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Muffet McGraw.

Ivey will be first up at approximately 6:05 p.m. EST as part of a coaches roundtable. Peoples will follow suit around 6:30 p.m. with several other ACC student-athletes.

Coach Ivey is in full swing of her first season at the helm of a Notre Dame women’s basketball program which was given a preseason ranking of No. 22 by the Associated Press. The Irish return all five of its double-digit scorers from a year ago, including all three ACC All-Freshman Team selections in Sam Brunelle, Katlyn Gilbert and Peoples. Also be on the lookout for freshman Maddy Westbeld, who was recently named to the ACC Newcomer Watch List.

The Irish will embark on a 20-game ACC schedule for the 2020-21 season, up two games from a year ago. Notre Dame will kick off league play on Sunday, Dec. 13, against Georgia Tech inside Purcell Pavilion.
