Irish Women's Lacrosse Legends Return to Teach Winning Tradition at Notre Dame Girl's Lacrosse Camp

Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s lacrosse legends will return to Notre Dame from June 27 to June 30 to teach the Irish winning tradition along with Head Coach Tracy Coyne.

Joining the staff in 2010 are one Tewaaraton finalist and three All-Americans led by former standouts Crysti Foote, Meredith Simon, Shannon Burke, Erin Goodman and Lael O’Shaughnessy.

Tracy Coyne, her staff, alumni and current team members develop aspiring athletes into lacrosse stars through teaching and competitive play.

All campers have the opportunity to live on the beautiful Notre Dame campus and have a hands-on learning experience with college coaches and current players. Each day campers will enjoy learning cutting-edge skills and playing lots of lacrosse in a fun and competitive environment.

Camp Training Sessions:

Campers will develop individual skills during the morning session, will learn tactical concepts during the afternoon session and will execute team concepts in team practices and scrimmages during evening sessions.

Goalie Training:

Receive one-on-one goalie training in three individualized goalie-training sessions. First, players will master their individual goalkeeping skills. Then, each goalie will be integrated into team and game situations in order to develop team concepts and communication skills. Learn from the goalie guru Denise Westcott, former Terp and current head coach at Monmouth University along with Erin Goodman, 2009 Big East Championship MVP and current assistant coach at Lehigh University.

Register as a team. Receive a 15% team discount.

Players who come to camp with their teammates will receive a 15% team discount. Teammates will improve their individual skills, develop team concepts to take back to their high school and club programs and have fun playing lacrosse with their friends. In order to receive the team discount, six or more high school, club, or youth league team members must sign up together.

Play inside “the Lot” (Arlotta Stadium), home of the Fighting Irish Arlotta Stadium is the new home of the Notre Dame men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, and what a home it is as it ranks among the top lacrosse facilities in the nation.

The 2,000-seat, lighted playing venue includes an artificial-turf field, spacious locker rooms and player lounges, athletic training room and concession area. The stadium is a gift of Notre Dame graduate John Arlotta, his wife, Bobbi and the Arlotta children.
