Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s lacrosse teams game at Storrs, Conn., on Saturday, April 3 has been moved from a 12:00 noon start at Morrone Field on the UConn campus to a 7:00 p.m. game under the lights at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex on Saturday.
Weather conditions in the Northeast this week have forced the Huskies to move from the natural grass surface at Morrone Stadium to the turf field at the Sherman Family Sports Complex.
The Irish will take a 7-0 overall record and a 2-0 BIG EAST mark into the game with the Huskies. The Huskies are 3-5 overall and 0-1 in league play. They defeated the University of Massachusetts, 19-13, on Tuesday in another game that had to be moved to the turf field.
