SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A trio of Notre Dame hockey players, including Trevor Janicke, Conor Klaers and Charlie Raith, have earned 2021-22 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors.
Janicke, a Business Analytics major, will be a senior for the upcoming 2022-23 season, while Klaers, a Business Analytics & History double major, and Raith, an Accountancy major, graduated this past May.
Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors are based on the grade-point average from the previous academic year and to be eligible for selection, students must be a recipient of Academic All-Big Ten Recognition in the previous academic year, have been enrolled at the institution for the entire previous academic year (two semesters or three quarters), have been enrolled full time during the previous academic year and earned a minimum GPA of 3.700 or better during the previous academic year (excluding any summer grades).
