NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s basketball team will open its daily practice session to the general public this Saturday, Oct. 30, from 1-2 p.m. (EST) at the Joyce Center. Following the conclusion of practice, the Irish players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures with everyone in attendance. In addition, the first 150 fans arriving at Saturday’s practice will receive a free BIG EAST Conference t-shirt, compliments of Aeropostale.

Fans wishing to attend Saturday’s practice and autograph session should enter the Joyce Center through Gate 10 beginning at 1 p.m. (EST). The Gate 10 ticket windows also will be open for those persons interested in purchasing 2004-05 season tickets for Irish women’s basketball.

Notre Dame has been a consensus top-15 pick in all of the major preseason publications and returns four of five starters from last year’s club that reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the second consecutive season (and sixth time in the past eight years). The Irish will tip off their season Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against Premier Sports at 7 p.m. (EST) at the Joyce Center. The regular season gets underway for Notre Dame on Nov. 12, when the Irish play host to Illinois State at 9 p.m. (EST) in the opening round of the Preseason WNIT at the Joyce Center.
