NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Nearly three weeks removed from its last competitive action in the pool, the Notre Dame men’s swimming and diving team will wrap up the 2010 portion of this season’s schedule at the Hawkeye Invitational (Dec. 3-5) in Iowa City, Iowa.
Hosted by the University of Iowa, the Irish will be joined in the pool by the Hawkeyes, Denver, South Dakota State, Green Bay and Milwaukee.
The Irish (3-2) were last in action Nov. 12 when they trounced Utah, 184-116, at the Rolfs Aquatic Center after finishing first in 13 of the 16 events.
Notre Dame is also receiving votes in the latest CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 dual meet poll.
After the Hawkeye Invitational, Notre Dame will travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for its annual winter training in late December.
