NOTRE DAME, Ind. – After another standout semester in the classroom, the University of Notre Dame men’s & women’s swimming & diving teams earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America recently.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester.

The Irish men’s team posted a cumulative 3.27 GPA over the spring semester while the women’s squad tallied a 3.18 GPA over the same time period.

Producing both in the classroom and in the water, the two programs combined for nine participants across nine events at the 2016 NCAA Championships under head coach Mike Litzinger.
