NOTRE DAME SOFTBALL TICKET INFORMATION

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Season passes for the 2016 University of Notre Dame softball home schedule at Melissa Cook Stadium are now on sale at the Murnane Family Ticket Office (Gate 9 of Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center).

The season passes are $50 for adults and $30 for youth (college and younger) and seniors (ages 55 and older), with children ages three and younger admitted for free. In addition, a Fighting Irish “Fan Pack” consisting of four season passes is available for purchase for only $120.

First-time buyers are eligible for a discount when purchasing a season pass, with the prices being $35 for adults, $20 for youth and seniors and $75 for the Fan Pack.

Softball season passes not only grant the ticket holder admission to all 21 scheduled home Fighting Irish softball games this spring, but also all 2016 baseball home games at Frank Eck Stadium.

Individual game tickets are expected to go on sale Feb. 29, at $5 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors. Students at Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s and Holy Cross will be admitted to all regular season games free when showing a valid student ID, while Notre Dame faculty and staff also will receive free admission with their valid ID. Both offers are voided once Melissa Cook Stadium reaches capacity, and all charges are subject to change for special events and tournaments.

Notre Dame opens its 2016 home schedule on March 17 with a non-conference showdown against Bowling Green. Following additional out of conference matchups with Eastern Michigan (March 22), Michigan State (March 23) and IPFW (March 30), reigning Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion Florida State makes its second all-time appearance at Melissa Cook Stadium to open conference play on April 2-3. After midweek meetings with IUPUI (April 5) and regional rival DePaul (April 7), Notre Dame next welcomes longtime BIG EAST Conference foe and 2015 NCAA Regional qualifier Pittsburgh (April 9-10) for its first official ACC series at Melissa Cook Stadium. Three more non-conference contests with Western Michigan (April 19), Valparaiso (April 20) and Butler (April 27) usher in Notre Dame softball’s sixth annual Strikeout Cancer weekend, when 2015 NCAA Regional participant Louisville (April 30-May 1) invades Melissa Cook Stadium for the first time since 2013. The final regular season series of 2016 features last season’s NCAA Harrisonburg (Virginia) Regional champion North Carolina State colliding with Notre Dame in a three-game ACC set on May 7-8.

Parking for all home softball contests is free of charge. Most parking is located on the south and north side of the Purcell Pavilion. Those entering Edison Road via the south or Bulla Drive via the north can access the parking lots. Disabilities Accessible parking is available in the Joyce lot for cars with a state approved license plate or hang tag, on a first come, first served basis.
